Muhammad, the Faithful and the Honest. O Allah, we know nothing but what You teach us, You are the All-Knower, the Wise. O Allah our Lord, teach us what is useful for us, let us make use of what You have taught us and advance us in knowledge. O Allah, show us the righteous things as righteous and help us do them, and show us the bad things as bad and help us keep away from them. O Allah our Lord, make us amongst those who listen to the Word and follow the best meaning of It, and admit us, by Your Grace, to the ranks of Your righteous servants.
The Quranic Laws never changes or fades:
Dear noble brothers, "The reciter of the Quran never grieves", is a profound, comprehensive and decisive statement, since the Qur’an is the Word of Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He. Furthermore, this statement is based on the following Hadith:
(( Abu Sa'id reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "The superiority of the words of Allah over all other words is like the superiority of Allah over His creation." ))
[ Sunan At-Tirmithi, on the authority of Abi Sa'id ]
The reciter of the Quran uses to read the Words of the Creator of all universes, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and the Lord of the entire universe. In His Book there is absolute truth, and within His Book are decisive Divine Laws that never change.
They are firm Laws. So, when Allah gives glad tidings to the believers in the Quran, they definitely come true. Also, when Allah warns the sinner or the disbeliever in the Quran, His Warning is true. For instance, Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, says:
﴾ Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter). ﴿
Some people may perform righteous deeds out of reason, self-interest, or intelligence, not as an act of worship.
﴾ Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism)… ﴿
Some people are given a good life for being true believers and working righteous, and not for being intelligent.
Westerners enjoy wonderful things in the worldly life due to their intelligence in dealing with people and things (but this will not be the case in the Hereafter). As for the reciter of the Noble Quran, he has a right upon Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, which is never to grieve. How could he grieve while he believes that all affairs are in Allah's Hand, Exalted and Sublime be He?. Were your affairs in the hand of other than Allah's, He would not be deserved to be worshipped. Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him return all affairs (for decision). So worship Him (O Muhammad PBUH) and put your trust in Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you (people) do. ﴿
It means that all affairs in all continents since the time of Adam till the Day of Resurrection return to Allah. Therefore, never worry about this religion, because it is the one of Allah. Yet, you should be concerned about being chosen to be one of Allah's Soldiers or not (i.e. to be among those who call people to Him).
The major problem in Islam is the hidden Shirk:
Do you know why the believer never grieves? Because he believes deeply that all affairs are in Allah's Hand. Such a belief reflects his Tawhid (believing that Allah is the only Deity worthy of worship), which is the highest rank of faith.
Actually, the main cause of grieving and being distressed is joining others with Allah in worship. Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ And most of them believe not in Allah except that they attribute partners unto Him [i.e. they are Mushrikun -polytheists – see Verse 6: 121]. ﴿
Shirk is the most serious problem the Ummah suffers from; it is to join others with Allah in worship, instead of believing that all affairs are in Allah's Hand the Possessor of the Most Beautiful Names and Exalted Attributes. Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. ﴿
The delicate truth you should consider is that if you know Allah as you are supposed to, you come to know everything else, but if you miss knowing Him, you will miss knowing everything else. It is said, "O Allah, what has missed he who knew You, and what has found he who missed knowing You."
I repeat the Ayah:
﴾ So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. ﴿
If you think that your fate is in the hands of someone who does not love you, your life will be unbearable. To have everything in his hand while he has no love for you is a torment no soul could endure. On the other hand, your life will not be a living hell if you believe that you are a servant of Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He.
Once again, if Allah were to entrust your affairs to other than Him, He would not be worthy of worship.
Do you know why you should worship Allah Alone? Because He is the only Creator, Lord, and Ilah. Thus, one of the greatest causes of inner torment is to think that your affairs are in the hands of a human being who does not love you. This, indeed, is among the greatest sources of suffering.
﴾ So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. ﴿
One more time, Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, says:
﴾ So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. ﴿
Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ And (remember) when Luqman said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong) indeed. ﴿
Pay attention to this Hadith, please:
(( It was narrated from Shaddad bin Aws that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The thing that I fear most for my nation is associating others with Allah. I do not say that they will worship the sun or the moon or idols, but deeds done for the sake of anyone other than Allah, and hidden desires." ))
[ Dai'f- Ibn Majah, on the authority of Shaddad bin Aws ]
The apparent Shirk, (like worshipping idols) no longer exists, but the hidden Shirk is still there.
(( I do not say that they will worship the sun or the moon or idols [it no more exists], but deeds done for the sake of anyone other than Allah, and hidden desires. ))
[ Dai'f- Ibn Majah, on the authority of Shaddad bin Aws ]
I repeat the Ayah:
﴾ Verily! Joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong) indeed. ﴿
Here is the Hadith one more time:
(( The thing that I fear most for my nation is associating others with Allah. I do not say that they will worship the sun or the moon or idols, but deeds done for the sake of anyone other than Allah, and hidden desires. ))
[ Dai'f- Ibn Majah, on the authority of Shaddad bin Aws ]
Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. ﴿
The believer trusts in Allah regarding all his affairs:
The subject of this blessed session is "The reciter of the Quran never grieves."
﴾ With Him (Allah). So plot against me, all of you, and give me no respite* "I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but He has grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the Straight Path (the truth). ﴿
To make the main point of these Ayaat clearer; imagine yourself facing savage, ferocious, and hungry beasts, but these beasts are held on leashes in the hand of the One Who is Raheem (Merciful), Hakim (Wise), and Aadel (Just), so the question is: are you concerned with the beasts themselves, or with the One Who holds their reins? This is the essence of the whole religion (mending your relation with Allah).
There are powerful people, and there are tyrants and oppressors, but Allah never lets your affairs in their hands, lest He would not be worthy of worship.
Listen to what Allah the Almighty says, please:
﴾ And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth… ﴿
All affairs, not some of them, return to Him:
﴾ …And to Him return all affairs (for decision). ﴿
Since all affairs return to Him, then you should definitely worship Him Alone:
﴾ So worship Him (O Muhammad PBUH)… ﴿
When does Allah command you to worship Him? Only after He reassures you that all your affairs whatsoever are in His Hands. This reassurance is felt when you see how the ferocious and predatory beasts are bound by reins in the Hand of the One Who is Aadel and Raheem. In this case you are not concerned with the beasts, but rather with the One Who holds them.
Having this truth clear in mind is what matters. Well, yes there are powerful people, and there are tyrants and oppressors, but above them all is Allah the Almighty.
Keep in mind that believing in Allah the Almighty and in His Qadar (Decree), removes anxiety and sorrow.
I repeat over and over again; if He were to leave your affairs in the hands of other than Him, He would not be worthy of worship.
﴾ And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth… ﴿
To the Almighty belongs all things:
﴾ …and to Him return all affairs (for decision). ﴿
Never ever hesitate to worship Him Alone:
﴾ So worship Him (O Muhammad PBUH)… ﴿
Allah has guaranteed provision for man as he was created weak:
Let me highlight another point: man was created weak, yet Allah the Almighty has taken charge of his provision:
﴾ Allah is He Who created you, then provided food for you, then will cause you to die, then (again) He will give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Is there any of your (so-called) partners (of Allah) that do anything of that? Glory be to Him! And Exalted be He above all that (evil) they associate (with Him). ﴿
Notice how the verbs in this Ayah are in the past:
﴾ Allah is He Who created you, then provided food for you… ﴿
This is another reason why the reciter of the Quran never grieves. In other words, he believes that Allah the Almighty guarantees his provision, since Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, says in His Book:
﴾ Allah is He Who created you, then provided food for you… ﴿
Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, is not to be disobeyed for the sake of provision (since He Himself has undertaken it.) Disobeying Him for that is a grave mistake.
To elaborate, if a powerful person makes you believe that your sustenance is in his hands, and he asks you to do something against Shari'ah rulings, you may obey him if your faith is weak. However, if your faith is strong enough, you have no doubts that nothing in his hand. Indeed, the One Who holds everything is Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He.
Do you know now why the reciter of the Quran never grieves? Well, why should he grieve? He believes that Allah is Ghani (Self-Sufficient) and Qawi (Mighty). The following Ayaat indicates these Beautiful Names:
﴾ Verily, those who give Bai'a (pledge) to you (O Muhammad PBUH) they are giving Bai'a (pledge) to Allah. The Hand of Allah is over their hands. Then whosoever breaks his pledge, breaks only to his own harm, and whosoever fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah, He will bestow on him a great reward. ﴿
﴾ You killed them not, but Allah killed them. And you (Muhammad PBUH) threw not when you did throw but Allah threw, that He might test the believers by a fair trial from Him. Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. ﴿
Pay attention to the following Ayah, please:
﴾ Indeed your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and (He created) the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)! ﴿
When you manufacture a helicopter and sell it, your mission ends at that point (i.e. you no longer have control over it after selling it). However, when it comes to Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, the case is different with His Creations:
﴾ Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. ﴿
This is a critical fact. I mean when a powerful country sells a helicopter, the latter might be used in committing hideous crimes against other countries. The way it is used is controlled by the one who buys it not the one who manufactures or sells it.
Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ Surely, Hi s is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!﴿
He also says:
﴾ And Allah judges with truth, while those to whom they invoke besides Him, cannot judge anything. Certainly, Allah! He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. ﴿
I repeat the following Ayah:
﴾ And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him return all affairs (for decision). So worship Him (O Muhammad PBUH) and put your trust in Him. ﴿
Why should man grieve? The reciter of the Quran never grieves, because he knows that he deals with Allah Al-Wahid (the One, the Unique) and Ad-Dayyan (The Recompenser, the Judge). Accordingly, his main concern is knowing Allah the Almighty as he is supposed to and pleasing Him, because it will suffice him for all other concerns as indicated in the following Hadith:
(( Make all your concerns one concern, which is to please Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. Work for one purpose, and it will suffice you for all purposes.
))
One more time, the reciter of the Quran never grieves, better yet he is always optimistic. He knows for sure that all affairs are in Allah's Hand Who is Sami'e (All-Hearing), Aleem (All-Knowing), and Baseer (All-Seeing).
Bear in mind that the believer who recites the Quran attentively and subtly never grieves.
How come that the reciter of the Quran grieves as long as the door of retuning to Allah in sincere repentance is always open, and as long as our Lord is Kareem (Generous), Raheem (Merciful), Wadood (Loving), Latif (Kind), Ghani (Self-Sufficient), Qadeer (Omnipotent), Sami'e (All-Hearing) and Mujeeb (Responder to Du'a)!
Will a child whose father is the king fear anyone? Definitely, he will not. So, why should you fear anyone when the One Who created you never entrusts anyone with your affairs. Allah the Almighty addresses you by saying:
﴾ And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him return all affairs (for decision). So worship Him (O Muhammad PBUH) and put your trust in Him. ﴿
Reciting the Quran as it should be recited:
Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ (This is) a Book (the Qur'an) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember. ﴿
Here is another Ayah revolving around the same point:
﴾ Those (who embraced Islam from Bani Israel) to whom We gave the Book [the Taurat (Torah)] [or those (Muhammad's Peace be upon him companions) to whom We have given the Book (the Qur'an)] recite it (i.e. obey its orders and follow its teachings) as it should be recited (i.e. followed), they are the ones that believe therein. And whoso disbelieves in it (the Qur'an), those are they who are the losers. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi. Vol. 2, Page 95). ﴿
This is what comes in the Ayah, but what does reciting the Quran as it should be recited mean? Initially speaking, it means to recite it according to Arabic grammar, but do you know why? If 5.000 people pray after the Imam who recites the Ayah— I will mention soon— incorrectly, their Salah will be invalid due to his wrong recitation.
Regarding the Arabic language, our Master Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "Learn Arabic, for it strengthens the intelligence and increases one's noble conduct." [Al-Bayhaqi in his Shu'ab].
If the vowels in the following Ayah in Arabic are not considered correctly the whole meaning changes; it will mean— Allah forbid— Allah fears only those who have knowledge among His slaves, while the meaning intended is interpreted in English as follows:
﴾ And of men and Ad–Dawab (moving living creatures, beasts, etc.), and cattle, in like manner of various colours. It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Mighty, Oft-Forgiving. ﴿
“Allaha with fatḥah is the object and "al-ulamau" with ḍammah (those who have knowledge) is the subject, and a small change in Arabic vowel marks can completely reverse the meaning, turning the subject into the object and the object into the subject)
I repeat the advice of our Master Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, "Learn Arabic, for it strengthens the intelligence and increases one's noble conduct."
"The superiority of the words of Allah over all other words is like the superiority of Allah over His creation":
Allah the Almighty says in these Ayaat:
﴾ Do they not then think deeply in the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)? ﴿
﴾ Do they not then consider the Qur'an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions. ﴿
Listen to this Hadith, please:
(( Abu Sa'id reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The superiority of the words of Allah over all other words is like the superiority of Allah over His creation." ))
[ Sunan At-Tirmidhi, on the authority of Abi Sa'id ]
The Quran is described in the following Ayah:
﴾ A Messenger (Muhammad (PBUH)) from Allah, reciting (the Qur'an) purified pages [purified from Al-Batil (falsehood, etc.)]. ﴿
These pages are purified from every error, deviation, misguidance, falsehood, flaw, and contradiction. Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, goes on saying:
﴾ Containing correct and straight laws from Allah. ﴿
They contain correct and straight Laws. To highlight this fact, let me focus on the matter of death.
The wealth of the richest person on earth comes to an end at death. Similarly, the power of the most powerful person, and the intelligence of the most intelligent person end at death. On the other hand, the Divine Bestowal of Allah to His believers truly begins after death.
By Allah, I—this humble servant—taught the biographies of the noble companions, may Allah be pleased with them, three times. They are around seventy companions, and what captured my attention was that they were all on cloud nine at the moment of their death.
Upon noticing that her father was dying, the daughter of one of the noble companions cried out, "Ah, the distress of my dear father." Her father said, "There will be no distress for your father after today. Tomorrow, we shall meet the beloved—Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his companions."
I say this truthfully, without exaggeration: having taught in Damascus the biographies of nearly seventy companions, I noticed one striking common thread—they were all in the happiest moment of their lives at the hour of death.
Indeed, for the believer, death is like a wedding ceremony.
(( 'Abdallah b. 'Amr reported Allah's Messenger as saying, "The gift to a believer is death." (i.e. death is the means by which he gains an introduction to the delights of paradise). ))
[ Al-Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu'ab al-Iman ]
After striving for Allah's Sake in the worldly life, and seeking His Pleasure, the believer finds rest at the moment of death. As if it is the reward for working hard in Allah's Cause throughout his life.
To clarify, imagine a very intelligent young man, who is extremely poor, persuades his mother and those around him to give him the price of a ticket to America to pursue his higher studies and become a doctor. Upon getting their consent, he attends his lectures in the morning, works in a restaurant in the afternoon, and studies hard in the evening. He divides his days into three shifts; going to the faculty in the morning, working in the restaurant in the afternoon (he washes dishes), and devoting himself to study in the evening.
Say that seven years pass, and in the end, he earns his doctorate. Knowing that his doctoral research is highly specialized and of a great importance, his home country offers him a very high-ranking position—something like Deputy Minister of Health, fearing that he might remain abroad.
Now reflect: this man has spent seven years studying at night, attending lectures in the morning, and washing dishes in a restaurant in the afternoon, which represents an almost unbearable struggle, filled with hardship, worry, and strain. However, he will forget all these stressful years, as he occupies a high rank, he possesses a home in the capital, another in the mountains, another by the sea, and he owns several cars.
What a remarkable transformation—from unbearable hardship, anxiety, and exhaustion to indescribable happiness! This is the delighted situation of the believer at the hour of death.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, described death as follows:
(( The gift to a believer is death." (i.e. death is the means by which he gains an introduction to the delights of paradise). ))
[ Al-Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu'ab al-Iman ]
Death is the most pleasant event in the believer's life, because he works hard (in worshipping and pleasing Allah) in the worldly life, waiting for this event to come. Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ So wait patiently (O Muhammad PBUH) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. ﴿
[ At-Tur, 48
]
The following part of the Ayah is considered the most compassionate, since it manifests Allah's Love for His Prophet, peace be upon him, in its best image:
﴾ …for verily, you are under Our Eyes. ﴿
We refer to the same meaning in one way or another when we say to someone dear to us, "You are the apple of my eye."
Every believer remains steadfast upon Allah's Order is addressed in the above-mentioned Ayah.
The poet said:
If your eyes were to behold the beauty that they have seen in Us,
you would never turn away from Us to others.
If your ears were to hear the sweetness of Our Call,
you would cast off the garments of pride and come to Us.
If you were to taste even a single drop of the sweetness of love,
you would excuse the one who has become slain by Our Love.
If but a gentle breeze from Our Vicinity reached you,
you would melt in longing and yearning to draw close to Us.
If even a glimmer of Our Light were to appear to you,
you would abandon all creation and hasten toward Us.
Our Heart is not easy to win; whoever claims the contrary—
We say to him: you have not truly known Us.
The least that love does to the passionate soul is to "slay" it,
and harder still than slaying is the day when we are part.
Ali bin Muhammad bin Wafa
We should ponder over Allah's Ayaat:
Dear noble brothers, I would like to refer to a subtle point. Whenever you come across an Ayah that contains a Command, it means you should act upon it, and whenever you come across an Ayah that contains a Prohibition, it means you should refrain from it. Furthermore, whenever you come across Ayaat in which a certain story is narrated, then you are supposed to learn the moral lesson from such a story. As for the 1.300 Ayaat that speak about the universe and the human being, what do you think you are required to do regarding them?
Listen to these Ayaat, please:
﴾ Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding* Those who remember Allah (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. ﴿
This is what you are commanded to do:
The verb comes in the simple present which means thinking deeply should be a habitual activity that never ends. Hence the 1.300 Ayaat in the Quran which revolves around the universe and man call you to do the following:
﴾ …And think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. ﴿
[ Aal-'Imran, 191
]
What does Allah say?
﴾ These are the Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of Allah, which We recite to you (O Muhammad PBUH) with truth. Then in which speech after Allah and His Ayat will they believe? ﴿
This means that these Divine Signs (the Ayaat of the universe and man) are the only true and unique channels through which one comes to know Allah. Thus, these 1.300 Ayaat in the Quran—about the sun and the moon, the night and the day, and all that lies within creation—are, in reality, gateways to reflection and contemplation.
Had it not been for the unique property of water life would have been impossible:
If you are at home carrying a glass of water, just ponder over it.
Pay close attention, dear brothers, water has a unique property—without which, this very session would not have been held. Better yet, Amman, Jordan, the entire Middle East, and the whole world would not have existed.
The general rule is that every solid, liquid, and gas expand with heat and contract with cold—throughout the entire earth, across all five continents, since the time of Adam until the Day of Resurrection. Accordingly, every solid element—with its weight, volume, length, width, height, every liquid or gas—follows this rule.
Water, however, is an exception. To clarify, if water is at 20°C, then we lower its temperature to 15°C, 10°C, 5°C, and then to 4°C, you will find something remarkable, which I studied in 80 pages. At 4°C, water reaches its maximum density.
Below that, as it cools further, its density decreases, causing it to float on the surface. Had water not had this exceptional property, every time a layer froze, its density would have increased and sunk, and the same would have happened to the next layer, so rainfall would have stopped, crops would have died, animals would have perished, and humanity itself would have vanished. All life on the five continents—since the time of Adam until the Day of resurrection—depends entirely on this unique property of water.
Try this: take a bottle, fill it with water, seal it tightly, and place it in the freezer. It will burst—because when water expands, nothing can stop it.
Upon trying to extract expensive rocks, workers make four holes, fill them with water, and freeze the water. When the ice expands, the rock is extracted intact.
Without such a property, this lesson would not have given. Also, Amman, Jordan, the Middle East, or any other place on earth suitable for life would not have existed.
Who has created water and made it have this property? Could it be a coincidence? Water alone, at 4°C, reaches its maximum density and floats. Had its density not decreased, it would have sunk. Layer by layer, as this happened, evaporation would have stopped, rainfall would have ceased, winds would have disappeared, and humanity itself would have perished. All human life on the five continents— from the time of Adam until the Day of Resurrection—depends on this exceptional property of water.
Try filling a bottle to the top and placing it in the freezer—it will burst, because it expands. Is this point clear?
Whose Hand has designed water like this? Whose Knowledge has made it so? Whose Power can you feel in the creation of universe and man? Whose Mercy is manifested in all that?
Thinking deeply, dear brothers, on the creation of the heavens and the earth is the shortest path to Allah, and the widest door through which we approach Him, Exalted and Sublime be He.
Allah the Almighty reveals to us the words of some disbelievers on the Day of Resurrection, so that we pay heed:
﴾ And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" ﴿
What is the serious problem we, Muslims, have? It is the lack of Islamic knowledge. Regarding the importance of such kind of knowledge a great scholar said, "If you seek the gains of the worldly life, pursue Islamic knowledge. If you seek the gains of the Hereafter, pursue Islamic knowledge as well. If you seek the gains of both, pursue Islamic knowledge." This reverend scholar went on saying, "Islamic knowledge does not give you part of it unless you devote yourself entirely to acquiring it. If you devote part of your time to it, you acquire nothing. Man remains truly knowledgeable as long as he seeks Islamic knowledge, but the moment he thinks he has already been knowledgeable, he is ignorant."
It is said, "The seeker of Islamic knowledge prioritizes the Hereafter over the worldly life, and thus he gains both. The ignorant, in contrast, prioritizes the worldly life over the Hereafter, and thus he loses them both."
How critical the decision to reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth is instead of just enjoying the worldly life!
Allah's Greatness is manifested in the creation of the heavens and the earth, the reflection upon which is not beyond your scope.
Du'a:
I ask Allah the Almighty to preserve for you your faith, your families, your children, your health, your wealth, and the stability of this country—a blessing that is only truly appreciated when it is lost. I pray that Allah will keep this blessed land safe and secure insha' Allah.
O Allah, increase us [in good] and do not decrease us, grant us honour and do not disgrace us, grant us and do not deprive us, prefer us [i.e., grant us Your Mercy] and do not prefer others over us, allow us to be pleased [with whatever You have decreed for us], and be pleased with us.
May Allah send His Peace and Blessings on our Master Muhammad, the illiterate Prophet, and his family and companions.
