Dear brothers, today we explore another of Allah’s Beautiful Names, and the Name for today is Al Qader.

Because Allah Almighty is Al-Qader, He predetermines matters to serve their purpose according to His Knowledge. His Knowledge is the first stage of Allah’s preordainment and predetermination (Qadaa' and Qadar).

Hence, Allah had predetermined everything before He created it, according to the Divine Plan.

Building any skyscraper or tall building starts with blueprints on paper, which represent a plan for the project.

Al-Qader is also the One Who arranged people's matters before their creation and before providing them with sustenance.

Allah Al-Qader then predetermined matters before giving man shape and perfecting it.

Roughly speaking, we, as humans, estimate how many tiles are needed for a building when we construct it. However, there is no one on earth, not even an architect, who can know with complete accuracy how many tiles will be required, as this is beyond human scope.

Among the meanings of Al-Qader is the ability to know the finest details of every piece of knowledge, to possess supreme power, to devise detailed plans, and to have the capability to carry them out. This is the meaning of Al-Qader.
